I guess it's about time I write again. It's been about a week since my last posting. This might sound funny but I haven't written because I have been busy. Last Saturday Bill, Kari and Owan came to visit. Sunday Ryan came up, spent the night and stayed until early afternoon on Monday. Tuesday Brenda Taylor came to visit for a few hours. Wednesday Bill, Kari and Owan were back for another visit and this time they were able to stay for lunch and supper. Owan held that balloon almost the whole time. :) Today Ryan is coming for the day. Tomorrow I'm supposed to get some visitors and Saturday Ryan, Owan, Bill, Kari and Stacy are planning on visiting again. So this week is going very fast!
On Monday Ryan got to help me move to a different room. This one is bigger with two beds, which is nice if someone is staying overnight. However, I don't think anyone will get to stay in this room because they will probably move me to another room (with TWO windows!!) today or tomorrow. They were going to put me in that one to start with but someone else was already using it. She has delivered now so I hear she will be going home soon.
On Sunday night and Monday Ryan and I were able to get a tour of the labor and deliver area. It was nice to see since we had never been over there. It's nice to have an idea of how this deliver will work. We didn't actually get to see an operating room but we know where they are and we did get to see the recovery room. It's was also nice to see how close the NICU is. It's just across the hall, if our babies do need to go there. We also had a lot of questions answered about the whole process. I think one of best aspects I learned was that as long as the C-section isn't emergency they will wait as long as possible for Ryan to get here for it.
The babies are doing really well. They have been a little hard to find and keep steady but when they do come in their heart rates are very good. Everyone around here asks if we have names for them. We did have a couple names we were pretty sure about which was nice because we think girl names we really like are hard to find. Then I kept hearing one of the names everywhere so now we are kind of back to the drawing board. It's even harder to find names for twins because we want to be careful not to have rhyming name or ones that are too similar and we still have to keep in mind the initials and nicknames and all of that. We do have two or three we mostly like so that is better than none. :)
Hopefully I will find time to write again before another week goes by.

Hey "Auntie K K"! Since we couldn't talk on the phone very long, I thought I'd write. I'm so glad you been busy and had lots of visitors. That helps so much!! I wish I was one of them. :( You know, you're welcome to share those baby names with me - I'm always happy to give advice. :) Hope you have a great and speedy weekend and I will talk to you next week sometime. Lots of love, Dana
Great to see the update, thanks! I'm sitting here in Julie's hospital room, waiting for the next stuff to happen. Right now she's dilated to 9cm, so you can check out my blog to see the latest posts. Can't wait to share pictures!
Glad to hear you've had a good week, and doesn't sound like it was a boring one. Yeah! Talk with you soon, Kari
Yeah for getting a nice new room! A change in scenery is always nice and then yeah for moving to a room with two window soon (possibly)...I'm glad that you are having lots of visitors and that you are able to keep busy during the week. That's gotta to be really nice. Yeah for having Kari, Owen and Bill come and visiting twice! I hope that you are doing well! I will talk to you later!
